Today, we all talk about cloud, but some of us are unaware of it, some say yes it is something to deal with the cloud which is floating above us which is not true as here cloud has been used as a metaphor.
Though you will get a lot of information over the cloud (internet,) if you just punch in these words “CLOUD Computing” on the search engine but to a non-technical or a walker/passerby it will be difficult to explain. So here I will explain it in a simple and crispy manner that if you are going for an interview too, you would be able to explain it even to the people travelling with you on the way.
What is Cloud?
Cloud is something that is over the net and is simply available by googling. You just need to grab it from the web i.e. cloud (internet).
What is Cloud Computing?
The use of remote servers over the internet to store, manage, process (google drive, dropbox, etc.) data rather than on a local server or personal computer.
Service Models by Cloud Computing
IaaS > SaaS> PaaS
IaaS — When cooking Pizza at home and buying the pizza stuff like base , toppings, cheese, tomato sauce from the market.
PaaS — Home delivery or Pick up of pizza from the store.
SaaS — Eating outside at the store of Domino’s/Pizza hut.

IaaS < Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is a form of cloud computing that provides virtualized computing resources over the internet
PaaS < Platform as a service (PaaS) is a cloud computing model in which a third-party provider delivers hardware and software tools — usually those needed for application development to users over the internet.
SaaS < Software as a service (SaaS) is a software distribution model in which a third-party provider hosts applications and makes them available to customers over the Internet such as Google Drive, DropBox, iCloud
This is the simplest understanding of the Cloud and its models ..!! I hope you had the understanding of these terms in the simplest ways..!!
